Justice Shri Hakim Imtiyaz Hussain

Hon’ble Justice Shri Hakim Imtiyaz Hussain, LL.B. – Born on 16.07.1949 Graduated from Kashmir university. Passed law from Aligarh Muslim University in 1971, joined Bar in the  same year, Joined Judicial Services as Munsiff – Judicial Magistrate on 10-09-1974.  He had the distinction of being Registrar of National Judicial Academy Bhopal, and has been author of several important books like Service law  , Agrarian   Reforms in J and K, Muslim Law and Customs & Financial Rules., Remained Posted as Principal Secretary to Hon’ble C.J , Additional Registrar,  Registrar Vigilance, Registrar General, Principal District. & Session Judge Srinagar. Was elevated as  Additional Judge of High Court of J&K on 30.09. 2004 and as permanent Judge on 19.12.2005. 

Justice Hakim Imtiyaz Hussain, holds the distinction of being the first Registrar of The National Judicial Academy, Bhopal, and also the first Director of Jammu and Kashmir Judicial Academy, when it re-established in the year 2001.
