During three month, trainee undergo training at Academy, by way court attachment of Munsiffs, sub-Judges and District Judges to study working of different sections of court viz, copying section, Accounts/Nazarat Section, maintenance of record/Sarishta, perusal of decided files etc., and field visits which include visit to FSL to know and understand the working and functioning of FSL regarding examination of forged documents, finger prints, contraband tests etc., District Jails and Central Jail, Government Medical College to see the autopsy, Revenue Training school, Accountancy Training School and State Police Academy etc.

Ubuntu Linux Awareness-cum-training programme under Change Management for all the Judicial Officers of the State

Practical Training : Newly selected
Munsiffs of 2010 batch

      The trainee officers were imparted training in shadow court proceedings in presence and under the supervisions of Presiding Officers of the Subordinate courts at Head Quarter District Jammu with the object to enable the trainee officers to experience judicial proceedings before actually presiding over the courts. The trainee officers were engaged on rotation basis with different Presiding Officers, Nazirs, Civil/Criminal/ Registration Clerks, Readers and Tameelat Sections to enable the trainee officers to understand court proceedings and court working in its entirety.
Placement of the trainee officers for shadow court proceedings has provided sufficient exposure to the trainee officers as regards the Court Management, Court craft, Docket Management and Tools and Technique for effective and timely disposal of cases.
In some of sessions, the trainee officers were asked to write introductory portion of judgments based on the pleadings of disposed of files.
Trainee officers were guided by the Presiding Officers of the court in managing court resources and officials. They were told to write parallel orders in interim applications and routine orders in the civil and criminal cases. Orders written by them were examined by the Presiding Officers of the courts and the trainee officers were guided in writing such orders.

Three days Regional Judicial Conference (North Zone) on “Enhancing Quality of Adjudication”

 Conference was attended by 200 Judicial Officers from six Northern States of India beside Hon’ble Judges of Supreme Court, Hon’ble Chief  Justice’s and Hon’ble Judges of other High Courts.

Out of  35,  28 newly appointed Munsiffs  had  extensive training outside the State at Chandigarh Judicial Academy.

Two days  - Workshops on “Modern Forensic Science Tools in the Administration of Criminal Justice” in collaboration with Truth Labs., a part of Truth Foundation, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh.

Workshop was attended by  the  Judicial Officers, Public Prosecutors, Chief  Prosecution Officer, Prosecution Officers, Investigating Officers of Vigilance Organization and Crime Branch.
