      The trainee officers were imparted training in shadow court proceedings in presence and under the supervisions of Presiding Officers of the Subordinate courts at Head Quarter District Jammu with the object to enable the trainee officers to experience judicial proceedings before actually presiding over the courts. The trainee officers were engaged on rotation basis with different Presiding Officers, Nazirs, Civil/Criminal/ Registration Clerks, Readers and Tameelat Sections to enable the trainee officers to understand court proceedings and court working in its entirety.
Placement of the trainee officers for shadow court proceedings has provided sufficient exposure to the trainee officers as regards the Court Management, Court craft, Docket Management and Tools and Technique for effective and timely disposal of cases.
In some of sessions, the trainee officers were asked to write introductory portion of judgments based on the pleadings of disposed of files.
Trainee officers were guided by the Presiding Officers of the court in managing court resources and officials. They were told to write parallel orders in interim applications and routine orders in the civil and criminal cases. Orders written by them were examined by the Presiding Officers of the courts and the trainee officers were guided in writing such orders.
